Name: Liam
Character Chosen: Andarc Bergman
Bio: An assistant of Walter who continued to accompany him on his journey after his expulsion from the Scarlet Moon Empire, Andarc was a competent mage whose natural intelligence and analytical sense of judgment was sometimes undermined by his quiet temperament and frequent aplogising.
When Walter and Andarc headed to battle alongside Brandeau and Edgar against Steele, Andarc was forced to kill Walter, in front of his son, Kyril, when he was transformed into a Fishman and threatened to attack the child. Despite saving Kyril's life, Andarc would harbour much guilt over the incident for many years to come, despite Kyril's forgiveness and understanding. In fact, Andarc's frequent attempts to apologise and swear his loyalty to Kyril often made things uneasy for his companions.
Keeping a journal of events, Andarc was easily flustered by the joking accusations that he was writing "juicy gossip" by Seneca, often telling her to refrain from peeking when he was writing. When Kyril asked Andarc about his father's profession, Andarc lied and claimed he was an engineer, researching the Rune Cannons of the Island Nations for design purposes. He would later apologise, most profusely, for the deception.
After defeating Iskas in 309, Andarc tried to persuade Kyril not to enter the energy dome created by the Evil Eye, but was unsuccessful. Much to his considerable relief, he returned soon after. After the events in Kooluk, Andarc returned to the Scarlet Moon Empire, helping the needy until Kyril left on a journey. After that, it seems Andarc remained in Scarlet Moon with Seneca as Corselia and Simeon searched for him.
It is Andarc's journal that recounts the events that happened in the Island Nations and Kooluk in the year 309 and, as such, he could be said to have given a great contribution to the documentation of world history.
