I enjoyed playing it when i was in public school, and a little bit in High-school,i think they should scrap the card system and go to a penalty system,so teams don't lose players so easily to red cards.
Soccer is a growing game, also plagued by divers, and fakers, just to draw getting someone red carded.

It could be worse though, look at the doping scams in the Olympics,Tour de France Bike racing, and Baseball.

Athlete shouldnot do that, it is not fair! I agree they shouldn't do that but unfortunately it does,That's what happens when Winning is put above the love of the game,it goes from being a fun game to play,to win at all cost including doping up on stuff to get an unfair edge.

Hockey stays fun, until kids get to Junior levels, then it becomes a competitive business.

I wish I can play hockey, too. But, there is no ice or snow in my country There are other variations Road hockey, floor hockey, and field hockey it's not limited to just ice hockey, these other forms use a ball or roller puck, plus roller hockey is another form you can play(wearing roller blades). I play Floor hockey on tuesday nights(sept-may) at a local church. If you want ice try a local Arena in your town.

Floor Hockey = one of the best Easy to play, you can find less competitive leagues to play in where bodychecking isn't done,so you suffer less aches and pains, plus you can learn all the basic stuff you need to know in all hockey by playing. a)stickhanding b)man to man defensive coverage c) passing and shooting d)shotblocking e)how to stick check g) goalies learn proper positioning, and various styles on how to stop shots sportsmanship and having fun especially when younger kids also play and are just learning how to play.

Alot of sports seem to be plagued by this, even some coaches, get carried away with their actions, they don't set very good examples for the kids acting like whiny babies, and parents that watch the games get really bad too.
I know officals make mistakes, but the verbal abuse must stop, these officals are needed to keep order.
People worry about cheap stuff and dirty hits now, without officals it would be worse.
