Yup that's why all my games are original.
BTW is also have Steambot Chronicles. I love the band thing, the songs were a little lacking in aspects but it was unique.
BTW what instruments do you make Jack play in Steambot Chronicle? What instruments do you make Connie play?
But then if I think about it, I loved Stembot better then Suikoden tactics.(sorry its just that i loved the "you can play music and the megaman legend stlye" of gameplay.)

That happens and it doesn't help when Tactics has it's moments of frustration, the easy dying characters i find to be the most frustating part for me,i've lost count of the resets because of that part of it.

@riou: What do you mean?
If its Steambot You get to have your band in the aftergame. It has you,Connie and the two other guys.
If its Suikoden IV The easily dying characters makes the game somewhat annoying. I found myself reseting the game cause my first character Rita, easily dies in her first mission.

If its Suikoden IV The easily dying characters makes the game somewhat annoying. I found myself reseting the game cause my first character Rita, easily dies in her first mission. She does die alot, you basically have a short list of storyline characters who only retreat after being defeated, the rest die,so you may wear out the reset button on your ps2 by playing suikoden tactics. The sidequest stuff from the Middleport Guide were fun to do,the monsters in Obel ruins are tougher then they were on suikoden IV ,plus that secret passage in that area you (where you recruit Warlock in suikodenIV) you enter it in suikoden tactics and discover another room. The element stuff was easy to remember, just remember your element heals and one other element does damage,it goes for both your party and the enemies, plus while on a healing element any physical damage taken is less, while on a damaging element physical damage taken is more. example(Kyril is fire, while standing on fire he regains hp,all physical damage an enemy gives him is reduced like wearing tougher armor, but if he stands on water,he loses hp,physical damage and enemy gives him is stronger, while earth, wind and lightning elements do nothing and any physical damage an enemy gives him in normal.) Fire is weak to Water,Water is weak to Lightning,Lightning is weak to Earth,Earth is weak to Wind, and Wind is weak to Fire use this to benifit your party but hurts the enemy. It works like the Rune cannon battles from suikoden IV,only it's the ground you stand on,so element beads and element runes determine alot in game battles.

I guess its something like that. No, it actually is like that. Yes it works like the naval battles, plus you get more exp points from hitting the enemy from behind, and there is a complicated system that averages everything out in a battle to determine what ranking prize you get,i recieived alot of b's and c's the odd a or s rank on some completed stuff.

Suikox for the forum
Suikosource for the data
Depends on which one do you like most? Forums or Data?
Well I can't choose either as I like them both

I agree with Percival, both sites are awesome sites, the forums on suikox are full of amazing stuff second to none, and suikosource has the deepest amount for suikoden game related information anywhere on the internet.
I love both sites the same.

I finally some more of tactics yesterday,i'm just before fighting the bandits at Ruins, just past El-Eal,i beat up Busk and his stooges at El-Eal,and Mizuki and her ninja sidekick returned to Obel to report to King Lino and request some back up.
I'll deal with the bandits later then go to Merseto,i actually beat Rita in her game the first time without hitting reset and i been lucky no one has retreated or died yet.

Really ?

Yes character death rate is usually really high in tactics, forcing numerous hitting the reset button, and Rita's game in tactics is tricky at times(5 turns you must cover more ground with your fire element then here lightning element to win and recruit her).
